Hello and WELCOME BACK!!!

I hope you had a wonderful spring break!

Algebra Two-  Today we looked at families of quadratics, we are looking at a standard quadratic (parent function) and shifting it up, down, left and right (sometimes more then one) and getting a new graph!

If you want to use a graphing calculator to see if you are on the right track, here is a great one to use:

http://webgraphing.com/graphing_basic.jsp

use it and find out what the graph will look like!!

There are several other online graphing calculators that you can use in order to help you succeed!!

Don't just sit there and say "I DON'T UNDERSTAND", use your abilities and figure it out!!!

Monday, April 4th

WOW- it's 5th period!  Is everybody still asleep?  It was a rough couple of classes without much getting accomplished

Here is a recap of today's classes:
- Algebra One - We looked at a third way of solving systems of equations, ELIMINATION.  We will continue working on problems using elimination tomorrow.
        - Use this video to review for class tomorrow: Solve by Elimination

Algebra Two- We reviewed what a determinate of a quadratic equation is, and what it tells us about the quadratic.
- Here is a nice little review of what we looked at today! Quadratic formula and the discriminant

Please comment if you have any questions or tips for your classmates!
